I think this is my way of sharing my thoughts with the world. I hope I do commit to this and come back from time to time.
I started Palette as a way to track the paintings I was discovering across museums and to follow the work of the artists I came to like.
I could have manually made a list, used a scrapper or any other way, but what really made me want to do this was that for the first time, I had an idea for a side project that excited me. It’s not the kind of sample portfolio work we sometimes feel compulsed to do as a software engineer.
I was genuinely excited at the ideation stage, at finding problems and trying to overcome them, at building my own vision.
This journal is an extension of that. A place to write about everything I want. I do want to talk about art but I might talk about anything else. Honestly this is not really meant to be shown to others, but if it does reach someone else’s eyes, I hope you don’t hate it too much.
